It's situated across from the River Liffey and just a stone's throw away from the popular Temple Bar area. I loved being able to explore all the top attractions like St Pat's, Dublin Castle, and Dublinia within walking distance. Plus, the Brazen Head Pub, a historic 800-year-old pub, is just a short 5-minute walk away. The hostel itself is secured with cameras, pass entry, and electronically-keyed room doors, making me feel safe throughout my stay. Our room, 305, was ideal for my family of four, offering comfortable bunk beds, a private bathroom. The hostel also has excellent amenities including a bustling common area, continental breakfast, a TV lounge with Netflix, luggage storage, a common kitchen. The vibrant decor with painted murals added a cheerful touch to the atmosphere. Although there were a few minor drawbacks like smoke wafting into the common area and having to navigate a tiring climb to the third floor, overall I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Four Courts Hostel.

My room at the Four Courts was clean, warm, and had a comfortable mattress. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the Temple Bar neighborhood. The USB connectors and small light on the bed were convenient. Though the breakfast was simple, it had all the basics. I would recommend this hostel.

Conveniently located within walking distance of popular tourist areas. Comfortable and clean beds. Friendly and helpful staff.
Proximity to a drug and alcohol service center can be intimidating, especially at night. Some rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner.

Well located, friendly staff
I recently stayed at a hostel in Dublin and had a great experience. The location of the hostel was perfect, with easy access to transportation options like the 747 bus from the airport. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, with en-suite bathrooms and additional shower and toilet facilities in the hallways. Although the rooms could get a bit stuffy in the morning, it's understandable considering multiple people sharing the same space. It would have been nice to open the windows for fresh air, but that was a minor concern. The beds had storage cages underneath, providing a secure place to keep belongings. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise and a great perk.
